Is your iPad broken and needs repairing?
You can see if your iPad is school managed by checking your Settings
The information above is being collected for the purpose of processing the insurance claims or other tasks related to supporting your iPads.
Please note: Apple do not provide a way of querying this information from the iPad so students will need to manually update this information if any details are changed.
The information is stored in a secure database and is only accessible to IT staff at St John the Baptist School. The current passcode will only be shared with authorised 3rd parties when absolutely necessary. If there is a requirement to provide the details of the Apple ID the student will be notified by email. If you have provided your Apple ID password, this will be deleted from the system once the iPad is retuned to the user.
Students or parents who are worried about the security of their account are advised to investigate Apple’s Two-Factor authentication: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204915.
Please note: While we strongly recommend this as a recommended security measure it will require the student having access to the device that is used to receive the code should it be needed. These are time limited codes.
Parents who are worried about payment details being attached to an Apple ID are advised to investigate Apple’s family sharing features: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201088
